Hey David, I'm a comic book author who's been looking for an artist. I was browsing through your work and it looks great! Your sample page layouts look fresh, and I feel that your style would be a good match for my current story. Would you consider drawing for me--it'd have to be long distance; I'm currently in the U.S.--if you have enough free time? The story's about a private investigator who can see ghosts...but it gets much more interesting later on. While I'm very flattered that you asked me this, I'm afraid I'll have to say no, at least for now. Apart from anything else, your project sounds a little too close to some other things I've been working on- I do a webcomic that, in different incarnations, has been going for a coupkle of years now- and that's about a private detective who reads minds! (it's called Mindhack these days, you can read it at mindhackcomic.com). I have a supernatural thing brewing with someone else, too; although I'm doing more on the writing side with that one than the art.
All that said, I'm reasonably open to collaboration on projects that might stretch my range a bit. If you find yourself looking for an artist on something else in future, feel free to check in and see if I'm busy or not. I may well be up for it!
